Training for the Treatment of Trauma

Traditional psychotherapy addresses the cognitive and emotional elements of trauma, but lacks techniques that work directly with the physiological elements, despite the fact that trauma profoundly affects the body and many symptoms of traumatized individuals are somatically driven.

Times: Thursday 12:30pm – 6:30pm, Friday and Saturday 8:30am – 6:00pm, Sunday 9:00am – 2:00pm

Recommended Hotels: If you're travelling and planning to stay overnight, we recommend that you make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. Two hotels in the area which have been recommended are: Crowne Plaza Hotel 314-726-5400 and Sheraton 314-863-0400 These are both in Clayton, MO.

Prerequisites:

To qualify, applicants must be graduate students, clinical interns or licensed in their field and state.
